The Vision

The vision of Resonate Church is to bring the unchanging message of Christ’s rescue to a mindset embedded deeply in post-modernity. The aim is to reach our culture through transformational community while using a simple church structure that can be easily replicated elsewhere.

Resonate Church seek to equip believers to leave Pullman, WA with a missional heartbeat, a passion for the Kingdom, and a leadership/ministry skill set that will motivate them to plant churches or to be a part of church plants in the Northwest and around the world.

The Mission

Resonate seeks to reveal the relevance of the Gospel, creating a transformational community of missional believers influencing the campus today and the world tomorrow.

The Purpose

The purpose of Resonate begins to be revealed while reading about the apostle Paul’s interaction with the Athenians at the Areopagus. Paul was compelled to tell the stroy of Jesus and he could have used the “system” the way he had told others about Jesus. But these people were different — they thought different, they lived different, the processed spiritually different. The system wouldn’t work. This gospel had to meet the people right where they were. Paul told the story in their language, helping them understand Jesus in their way. It was a beautiful collision of gospel and culture. When these two things collide in the context of relationships instead of systems, powerful and meaningful things happen.

This the purpose of Resonate church, to help people understand and embody the story of Jesus and to bring about a collision of this powerful force to the culture. Resonate desires to reveal the story of Jesus in a powerful and meaningful way to the cultures of Pullman, WA and Moscow, ID not through systems or programs, but through authentic relationships
